Taxi from Fiumicino Airport
Taxis wait at the Arrivals level of Terminal 1 and Terminal 3, on the main road in front of both terminals and on the secondary road in front of the railway station. Fares to Rome are set by the municipality, and many destinations have fixed fares valid in both directions.

Other fare rules
- Rides starting or ending inside the Grande Raccordo Anulare with no fixed fare: the amount cannot exceed €80.00.
- Destinations without a fixed fare: minimum fare €35.00.
- Rides within the Municipality of Fiumicino: minimum fare €25.00.

Recognising an official taxi
- Official taxis are white with a “TAXI” roof sign and the licence number displayed on the doors, the back and inside the vehicle.
- Use only vehicles in the dedicated pick-up areas — other cars at arrivals may not hold a regular taxi licence.
- A chauffeur-driven (NCC) service can be booked before arrival for fixed transfers.
Allow plenty of time: the Rome–Fiumicino motorway is busy at peak hours.
